Grouping Synonyms by Definitions

摘要: We present a method for grouping the synonyms of lemma according to its dictionary senses. The senses are defined by large machine read- able French, TLFi (Tresor de la langue francaise informatise) and syn- onyms given 5 synonym dictionaries (also French). To evaluate proposed method, we manually constructed gold standard where each (word, definition) pair set that word dictionaries, 4 lexicographers speci- fied they judge adequate. While inter-annotator agreement ranges on task from 67% at best 88% depending annotator being considered, automatic procedure propose scores precision recall 71%. is compared with related work namely, sense disambiguation, lexicon acquisition WordNet con- struction.
