Alary Polymorphism in the Gerroidea (Hemiptera-Heteroptera)

摘要: THE Gerroidea exhibit a marked alary polymorphism which has promoted many investigations since that of Poisson1, who classified the various forms and attempted to investigate genetics this by breeding experiments. This lead was followed Ekblom2 Guthrie3 without reference Mitis4, had suggested possible link between life-cycles polymorphism. These experiments have given varied confusing results, one may only conclude any form can give rise other that, as decided, problem is not simple genetics.
