摘要: Benthic foraminiferal assemblages and the carbon isotope composition of epifaunal benthic foraminifera Epistominella exigua Fontbotia wuellerstorfi have been investigated along core MD02-2589 located at southern Agulhas Plateau (41°26.03′S, 25°15.30′E, 2660 m water depth). This study aims to evaluate changes in paleoenvironment its influence on δ 13C with a notable focus E. exigua, species associated phytodetritus deposits poorly studied paleoceanographic reconstructions. The (>63 μm) show large fluctuations suggesting significant pattern ocean surface productivity conceivably related migrations Subtropical Convergence (STC) Subantarctic Front (SAF).
