摘要: It is possible to represent an essential factor of the dipole oscillator‐strength distribution for a single‐electron continuum in terms compact expression involving polynomial several degrees suitable variable. The factor, which may be called reduced distribution, defined radial matrix element with respect final‐state wave function normalized energy‐independent way near origin. key variable g = e/(e+I), where e kinetic energy ejected electron and I ionization threshold energy. structure analytic representation has been identified through study properties as e. For illustration, H, He, Li, Na atoms are treated explicitly. Implications our results molecules multichannel cases also indicated. present findings will especially useful interpolation extrapolation experimental data.
