摘要: Abstract : The force constants of a series nonmetal hexafluorides were calculated using modified Urey-Bradley Force Field, and the results correlated according to position central atom in periodic table. On this basis, recent vibrational assignment IF6(+) by Christe Sawodny was questioned; it is suggested that nu1 nu2 assignments should be reversed, nu4 has not been properly identified. (Author)
