Formation of ZnSe and CdS quantum dots via laser ablation in liquids

摘要: Abstract Formation of nanoparticles both ZnSe and CdS under ablation corresponding bulk semiconductors in liquid environment (diethyleneglycol, ethanol, etc.) using radiation a Cu vapor laser is reported. X-ray diffraction (XRD), resonance Raman scattering (RRS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) confirm that the are crystalline have average size ca 10–20 nm. RRS characterized by several peaks multiple to frequency phonon (LO replicas).
