摘要: Alzheimer disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that characterized by changes in cognition, behavior and daily functioning. The earliest change within cognition concerns episodic memory (EM) followed other cognitive functions will decline rather rapidly the course of AD. Cognitive EM domains may occur years before actual diagnosis Although deposition amyloidbeta (Aβ) plaques have been found to be associated with AD, these linkages remains unclear. Furthermore, reserve (CR) thought act as mediator between neuropathological processes brain clinical expression. In this study, we examined whether amount Aβ deposition, measured posterior neocortical PIB (PIB) PET imaging, CR were able predict performance, 5 domains. addition, investigated medial temporal lobe atrophy (MTA) area (PA) would an influence on possible relationship performance. Results show was However, MTA PA appeared account for relationship. No significant results could non predictor Findings indicate ratings superior measures retention predicting performance thus, reflect upon importance using both settings evaluating neurodegerenation
