摘要: This paper considers the drop-time technique in electrocapillary measurements and focuses on calibration methods required to convert t of a mercury electrode into value interfacial tension γ. The relationships between γ, described literature, are reviewed six identified. On basis high-precision carried out 0.1 mol l−1 KCl aqueous solution, with γ values known from absolute measurement method, performance methods, expressed terms bias uncertainty, is evaluated compared. Better observed for that involve nonlinear model such as γ=αtβ fitted data, instead single-point linear commonly used. uncertainty U ⩽ 0.12 mN m−1 these advanced approaches corresponds level accuracy achieved classical capillary electrometer.
