摘要: The stretching of material lines in time periodic sequences ‘‘weak’’ flows (i.e., characterized by a linear for long times) which streamlines change at the end each unit is quantified terms mixing efficiency. Two different and two strain distributions give nearly identical results efficiency indicate existence an optimal operating condition maximum stretch. are relevant to fluid chaotic flows.
