摘要: A mathematical model for laminar flow fuel cells including electrical double layer and ion transport effects is developed. The consists of the Poisson-Nernst-Plank equations modified Navier-Stokes to account advection species in downstream direction. generalized Frumkin-Butler-Volmer equation used cell kinetics. finite-volume method develop a system algebraic from governing partial differential equations, numerical algorithm developed obtain results. accuracy 2-D simulation validated against published results using 1-D analytical solution.
