Influence of Nepheline Syenite on Mechanical Reliability of Ceramic Raschig Rings

摘要: The influence of nepheline syenite on physicomechanical properties extruded ceramic Raschig ring was investigated. Industrial kaolin used as reference composition and different amounts were replaced with ranging 5–15 wt%. laboratory experimental results showed that the use 5 wt% in improves final product characteristics. This mix also maximum mechanical compressive strength reliability attributed to improve microstructural homogeneity. On comparing chemical resistance data, it found optimum condition for obtaining satisfactorily covers resistance.
