摘要: patients with MRSA or VRE usually acquire it via spread. The CDC has long-recommended contact precautions for colonized infected such pathogens. Most facilities have required this as policy, but not actively identified sur veillance cultures, leaving most undetected and unisolated. Many studies shown control of endemic and/or epidemic infections using surveillance cultures precautions, demonstrating consistency evidence, high strength association, reversibility, a dose gradient, specificity approach. Adjunctive measures are also discussed. CONCLUSION: Active essential to identify the reservoir spread make possible CDC’s (Infect Control Hosp Epidemiol 2003;24:362-386).
