摘要: South Asia accounts for around 31 % of the global population without access to electricity. While there is no denying fact that electrification rate increasing, such a situation continues exist despite several initiatives and policies support efforts by respective country governments. The challenges enhance electricity are manifold including technical, financial, institutional governance barriers. Based on an extensive literature review, this chapter attempts highlight rural at regional level in Asia.
