摘要: In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to environmental impacts that may re‐ sult from resuspension, sedimentation and increase in concentration of chemicals during dredging activities. Dredging dislodges resuspends bottom sediments are not captured by dredge-head movements. Resuspended advected far the site as a plume suspended solid (SSC) can strongly differ, time space, depending on operational condi‐ tions. Well-established international guidelines often include numerical modelling appli‐ cations support studies related Despite focused this issue, there is lack verified predictive techni‐ ques dynamics at progressive distances different sources, function employed techniques work programs, i.e., spatial temporal variation resuspension source. This chapter illustrates estimate SSC arising dredges with mechanisms sediment release assess variability resulting estuarine coastal areas. Predictive tools aimed technical choices planning phases better plan location frequency moni‐ toring activities execution.
