摘要: Emergency contraception (EC) is any method used after sexual intercourse to prevent pregnancy. This article provides an overview of the history EC methods and describes current availability oral intrauterine EC. Oral forms include Yuzpe regimen (combining ethinyl estradiol levonorgestrel), levonorgestrel-only pills, ulipristal acetate, which a new emergency contraceptive drug recently approved by US Food Drug Administration.
