摘要: Seit fast 40 Jahren werden Steroide bei Schwangeren mit Fruhgeburtsbestrebungen eingesetzt, nicht nur zur Induktion der Reifung fetalen Lunge, sondern auch um Mortalitat und Morbiditaten wie Hirnblutung, offenen Ductus arteriosus nekrotisierende Enterokolitis zu reduzieren. Trotz dieser langen Geschichte sind noch viele Detailfragen unbeantwortet, vor allem die Frage, ab welchem Gestationsalter antenatale gegeben sollen. Mitentscheidend dafur ist regionale Strategie im Hinblick auf Versorgung von sehr unreifen Fruhgeborenen lokalen Interventionsgrenzen bezuglich des Gestationsalters. Entsprechend sinnvoll erscheint es, sorgen, dass zum Zeitpunkt Geburt bereits verabreicht sind. Einschrankend bleibt allerdings vermerken, fur Wirksamkeit antenataler 23 + 0 SSW keine zuverlassigen Daten vorliegen.
