摘要: Aqueous dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are attractive due to their sustainability, the use of water as a safe solvent for redox mediators, and possible applications in photoelectrochemical splitting. However, higher tendency dye leaching by lower wettability molecules two major obstacles that need be tackled future aqueous DSSCs. Sensitizers designed DSSCs discussed based on functions, such modification molecular skeleton anchoring group better stability against water, incorporation hydrophilic entities into molecule or addition surfactant system increase more facile regeneration. Surface treatment photoanode deter improve is also discussed. Redox mediators The review includes quantum-dot-sensitized cells, with focus improvements QD loading suppression interfacial charge recombination at photoanode.
