摘要: Abstract Two different routes were employed in order to deposit silver nanoparticles (nAg) on alumina porous substrates aiming obtain antibacterial filtering elements for the disinfection of drinking water. Silver deposited 40 and 80 ppi ceramic foams by sputtering DC (direct current power supply) situ chemical reduction nitrate (AgNO 3 ). The depositions characterized through scanning electron microscopy (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD). influence nAg deposition permeability properties was analyzed and, sequence, preliminary analysis carried out. Results indicate that: (i) route resulted homogeneously distributed nanoscaled particles; (ii) had no significant effect (iii) filters efficient against Escherichia coli ( E.
