摘要: Before 2.6 million years ago (Ma), no archaeological record has been securely documented, and therefore there is evidence of hominin tool use. Then, at 2.6–2.58 Ma, widespread for manufacture use several sites, with undisputed stone tools fossil fauna Gona, Ethiopia. Additionally, the from earliest sites Gona shows that makers were skilled flintknappers able to select high quality raw materials. The possible reasons behind this seeming abrupt transition absence presence thereof include sampling biases, paleogeographic influences, gaps in geological record, paleoenvironmental change, changes evolution.
