摘要: The Campanian-Paleocene turbidite sequence known as Emine Flysch Formation is widely exposed in the East Balkan, Bulgaria. Its boundaries and different stratigraphic levels have been described many outcrops, but complete of unit still not established due to great thickness folded zones unit. A nannofossil zonation was applied here order estimate more precise range total Cretaceous part section includes 6 zones, from older younger: Uniplanarius gothicus, trifidus, Arkhangelskiella cymbiformis, Lithraphidites quadratus, Micula murus prinsii. Paleocene interval subdivided into standard well along Black Sea coast northern limb Banya syncline. Here are NP-1 Biantholithus sparsus, NP-2 Cruciplacolithus tenuis, NP-3 Chiasmolithus danicus, NP 4 Ellipsolithus macellus, NP-5 Fasciculithus tympaniformis, NP-6 Heliolithus kleinpellii, NP-7 Discoaster mohleri, NP-8 riedeli NP-9 multiradiatus. below above K/T boundary better than others, their relatively short range, a singular section. In this study events used markers choose appropriate comprising full zonal intervals at least one zone, reconstruct composite Formation. On basis reconstruction, maximum its thickest near- shore calculated be 1670 metres. decreases west lateral transition coarse-grained deposits Dvojnitsa thinnest near Kozichino Village, where restricted Upper Campanian - Maastrichtian.
