摘要: A rat model of chronic pulmonary infection (CPI) initiated by Pseudomonas aeruginosa embedded in agar beads was used to test the effect ozone on lysosomal enzyme levels alveolar macrophages (AM). CPI induced intratracheal instillation a 0.1-ml suspension infected into left lung. Ten days after half rats were exposed atmospheres air and 0.64 ppm for 4 weeks. Enzyme measured using scanning cytospectrophotometer linked PDP/11 computer. Measurement lysozyme individual AM situ showed significant decrease cell size content ozone-exposed uninfected animals. Cell animals with further reduced, suggesting synergistic between exposure infection.
