摘要: Intraluminal manometry is a useful clinical and investigative method for the evaluation of esophageal motor function. If improperly performed, however, examination yields only semiquantitative information. Notwithstanding, instrumentation methods are now available that permit accurate quantitation pressure activity. Esophageal values determined by several important factors: recording-system fidelity, recording technique, scoring method, conditions existent during manometry.1All these factors must be considered dealt with satisfactorily, in order to obtain precise measurements. The purpose this paper provide practical information relative performance interpretation manometry. RECORDING ACCURACY Two major variables determine fidelity any system: (1) character event being recorded, (2) performance.2For waves, inversely related wave amplitude (Amp) directly duration (Dur).
