摘要: Abstract The miscibility behavior and physico-mechanical properties between methyl cellulose (MC) of different molecular weights (4 × 10 4 8.3 × 10 g/mol) poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) were studied by viscometry, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), tensile strength electron microscopy (SEM) using water as a solvent. Various formulations designed to investigate the effects process variables such pH on MC/PAA blends. rheological features for obtained blends are strongly dependent weight MC used pH. viscosity measurements showed that all have non-Newtonian shear thinning (pseudoplastic) behavior. These single glass transition indicating these able form miscible phase due formation hydrogen bonds hydroxyl group carboxyl PAA. exhibit good mechanical properties, stability, characteristics MC–PAA polymer network.
