摘要: The female brain is highly dynamic and can fundamentally remodel throughout the normal ovarian cycle as well in critical life stages including perinatal development, pregnancy old-age. As such, females are particularly vulnerable to infections, psychological disorders, certain cancers, cognitive impairments. We will present latest evidence on brain; how it develops through neonatal period; changes individuals; adapts postpartum; responds illness disease, cancer; and, finally, shaped by old age. Throughout, we highlight vulnerability resilience against disease dysfunction face of environmental challenges.
