摘要: α-Synuclein is a neuronally expressed protein which mutated in familial Parkinson's disease. We have previously shown that disease-associated mutants of α-synuclein cause enhanced neuronal cell death response to variety stimuli, whereas wild-type has protective effect against some whilst enhancing the others. demonstrate, for first time, over-expression heat shock HSP27 potent anti-apoptotic damaging effects and particularly mutant α-synuclein. In contrast, HSP70 protein, but no proteins, HSP56 this system. Our results indicate enhance its death-inducing properties lead increased apoptosis, can be mitigated by either use specific caspase inhibitors or over-expression. This proteins may potential therapeutic importance.
