摘要: The temperature dependence of the local structure liquid Sb has been studied by x-ray absorption spectroscopy. It is shown that about 10% atoms with coordination 3 and weak Peierls distortion exist in just above its melting point. weakens gradually increasing vanishes at 750 degrees C. This structural variation different from normal liquid-liquid phase transition. work reveals relationship between change physical properties, such as electrical resisitvity Sb, temperature. complete agreement measured resistivity values during heating cooling processes suggests units features a rhombohedron appear point solidification.
