摘要: Abstract A multi-artery vapor chamber was designed, built and tested in this study. In chamber, the wick structure consists of sintered copper powder layers on top bottom plates, operating as evaporator condenser respectively, rings embedded with solid columns liquid flow path. Copper contact tip wicks directly to provide a short return path for working fluid. Solid are welded together plate prevent deformation which is caused by internal external pressure difference. An experimental system joule heating water cooling built. Thermal resistance defined characterize performance. The performance under different heat loads, areas modes were analyzed. lowest measured thermal less than 0.08 K cm2/W using 1 cm2 source. maximum flux 300 W/cm2 without capillary or boiling limits reached. As compared chambers reported literature, has very good can be easily manufactured low cost.
