摘要: Spatial distribution of root activity was studied using 32 p soil injection technique in 8-year-old' Alphonso' mango (Mangifera indica L.) budded on 'Bangalora' rootstock grown a loamy sand (Typic Haplustalf) belonging to 'Thyamagondlu' series. During the Jate rainy season the bulk active roots (80%) confined 100 cm radial distance, out which 30% found at 50 distance. Substantial percentage 20 and 60 depths (41 and 46% respectively), whereas only 12% occurred 40 depth. winter (80-85%) uniformly distributed up lateral The increased with In summer 28% were distances, 52% 150 Root decreased depth (50,31 19% 20, respectively).
