摘要: Recently, the exploration of earliest stages galaxy and structure formation, timing cosmic reionization epoch have become some most active areas in cosmological research. In preparation for advent GTC GTM, we are searching QSOs around end era. These will be used as probes formation rst massive structures early intergalactic medium (IGM). Such objects rare at any epoch; hence, large sky to covered order generate statistical samples. The Palomar-Quest Synoptic Sky Survey (hereafter PQ) is a new major digital survey conducted Samuel Oschin 48-inch Schmidt telescope Palomar. Color selection an ecien t way select high-z objects. However, z > 5:5 or so, QSO candidate samples heavily contaminated by late-M brown dwarfs. Nevertheless, suitable candidates can isolated with aid IR photometry.
