摘要: One of the ways determining whether a particular compound has role in synaptic transmission is to study way which isolated nerve endings accumulate its radiolabelled congener and subsequently release it under resting or stimulated conditions. In past, this strategy been used examine uptake radiolabeled m-tyramine (mTA), p-tyramine (pTA), tryptamine (T) (Dyck, 1984; Baker Dyck, 1986). Most previous studies labelled PE T, general, have found that these two amines are poorly taken up, retained they released mainly by diffusion rather than depolarizing stimulus. contrast, more polar amines, mTA pTA, actively accumulated, stored stimuli calcium-dependent manner; i.e., pTA behave manner consistent with appellation, neurotransmitter. Because congeners do not necessarily give an accurate reflection endogenous neurochemicals, recent attempt measure basal compounds.
