摘要: Traditional GIS and Web solutions are showing considerable limitations in terms of IT technologies knowledge management as well the ability to reconcile flexibility interoperability. The Geospatial Semantic is a novel, fast-evolving territorial resource application that uses advanced geographical data processing based on semantic rules specific geo-ontologies overcome rigid relational structures traditional databases. work proposes methodological reflection applicative potential (SWGIS) provides examples. A collaborative project between SeMedia/3mediaLabs SAIFET-Agrur research groups Polytechnic University Marches (Italy) was devised design tool using multiplatform desktop system initiative-defined standards different scale test areas Como Lake area, Italy.
