摘要: Abstract Physiological and histochemical studies have suggested that the limb veins are innervated by sympathetic adrenergic fibers. In present experiment, horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was used as a retrograde tracer to identify localize postganglionic neurons innervate femoral-saphenous vein in cats. anesthetized cats, HRP applied perivascularly on femoral saphenous segment (4–8 mm length for each segment) allow uptake into nerve endings. The chains both sides were dissected after animal sacrificed fixed 60 h following application. Histological examination serial section done count HRP-labeled ganglion from L1 S1. 10 total number of amounted 8569. Most arose L3 (47%) then L4 (31%). became progressively decreasing towards ends chain. Few (less than 2% total) discovered contralateral ganglia. ganglion, distribution appeared be scattering. Our findings provide anatomical evidence support cat efferent main origins these third fourth lumbar
