摘要: Abstract The exchange and substitution reactions of 9-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane (9-BBN) its B -substituted derivatives with various reagents have been studied. reaction 9-BBN halogens hydrogen halides provides a simple route to -halo-9-BBN's ( -X-9-BBN, X = Cl, Br, I). These -X-9BBN's can also be prepared by the facile redistribution between respective boron trihalides or -OMe-9-BBN. alcoholysis -X-9-BBN affords -alkoxy-9-BBN in high yield. borane-methyl sulfide quantitative This study reports procedures for interconversion variety 9-BBN's.
