摘要: In this work, sub-100 nm crosslinked polythioether nanoparticles were synthesized via thiol–ene photopolymerization in miniemulsion using high-energy homogenization. The effects of the formulation and homogenization parameters – including inhibitor concentration, surfactant organic weight fraction, ultrasonication time amplitude on nanoparticle size distribution investigated. Thiol–ene with a mean particle diameter 46 obtained under optimized conditions for current system at 2.5 wt% fraction 20 mM concentration. an effort to demonstrate potential utility nanoparticles, we exploit step-growth radical mechanism non-stoichiometric fabricate functional that express excess thiol or alkene surface. We show these groups can be utilized as reactive handles thiol-Michael radical-mediated reactions immobilization fluorescent moieties postpolymerization modification.
