摘要: A wide electron system as realized in modulation-doped parabolic quantum wells is used to investigate the resonant interaction between intra- and intersubband plasmonic excitations. In contrast a conventional quasi-two-dimensional system, both excitations have about same resonance energy at finite wave vector due relatively low subband spacing. We use perpendicular magnetic field tune intrasubband plasmon such that it energetically degenerates with mode. electrical limit no mode coupling observed, whereas for case of two occupied subbands strong modes reflected anticrossing behavior.
