Comparative study of the fragments' mass and energy characteristics in the spontaneous fussion of 238Pu, 240Pu and 242Pu and in the thermal-neutron-induced fission of 239Pu

摘要: Abstract The energy and mass distribution their correlations have been studied for the spontaneous fission of 238, 240, 242 Pu thermal-neutron-induced 239 Pu. A comparison 240 Pu(s.f.) Pu(n th ,f) shows that increase in excitation mainly results an intrinsic energy. 238 Pu, demonstrates occurence different modes with varying relative probability. These are discussed terms scission point model as well channel random neck-rupture.
