摘要: The purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate the outcomes endoscopic vertical ramus osteotomy (EVRO) with rigid fixation for treatment mandibular prognathism or asymmetry. Inclusion criteria were age >15 years, adequate clinical and radiographic documentation, minimum postoperative follow-up 3 years. Exclusion refusal consent, rheumatoid arthritis, steroid use, smoking. Demographic data, pre-operative (T0), immediate (T1), latest (T2) examinations cephalometric analysis, procedure complications, length hospital stay (LOS) documented. Ten fulfilled inclusion criteria. Diagnoses included hyperplasia (n = 5), stable condylar 4), asymmetry secondary resorption 1). In total, 17 EVROs performed. mean operative time 33 min per side. Mean setback 4.7 mm. LOS 1.9 days. Latest ranged from 5 Skeletal stability confirmed in nine patients. One patient exhibited recurrence at years due late growth. No VII nerve deficits encountered. Inferior alveolar (IAN) paresthesia noted four patients, which resolved postoperatively. EVRO fast resulted minimal blood loss, quick recovery, skeletal stability.
