摘要: Growing interest in the integration of land-use and transport planning has led to inclusion mechanisms within policies by local governments Australia. Travel is a methodology that seeks reduce number single-occupancy vehicle trips generated site or precinct. Many are beginning incorporate travel mechanism as condition development consent, requires developers prepare implement plans. Previous research found implementation plans processes poorly managed, with no provisions for monitoring, evaluation, compliance enforcement put place. This involved comparative policy analysis between UK – where reportedly been implemented successfully NSW, proved problematic. Drawing on interviews key documents, review compared relating development, implementation, monitoring plans, identifying factors system were lacking NSW. identified shortcomings NSW prevent effective from being undertaken, explores how Australia could be adapted improve implementation.
