摘要: Summary Between 1986 and 1990, 171 patients with mandibular 129 mid-face fractures were treated in our service. Both groups separated into HIV infection without infection. We carried out a retrospective review of these cases. The incidence + ve was higher the fracture group (19.8%) than (7.75%). most important aetiology violence acquired through intravenous drug use (heroin). an independent associated factor where there concomitant but not fractures. In fractures, preoperative infections significantly (26.4%) − (6.5%) (p 0.05). Miniplates good osteosynthesis medium intermaxillary fixation seems to increase rate group. antibiotics excellent results majority postoperative cases, both patients.
