Interval-valued restricted equivalence functions applied on Clustering Techniques

摘要: In this work we use interval-valued fuzzy sets in the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm for image segmentation. We introduce restricted equivalence functions as a way of measur- ing between intervals associated to different pix- els. propose two construction methods those new functions. also prove experimentally that with these concepts, algo- rithm provides better results ultrasound segmentation than not using intervals.
