摘要: Metaplastic breast carcinomas are ductal that undergo metaplasia into non-glandular growth patterns. They very rare and account for less than 1% of all invasive carcinomas. Matrix-producing carcinoma is an extremely aggressive subtype metaplastic characterized by a carcinomatous component with direct transition to areas cartilaginous/osseous differentiation without intervening spindle cell element. It has better prognosis carcinoma. Even though these tumors composed mixture infiltrating heterologous stroma, each which behaves aggressively individually, composite have 5-year survival rate nodal metastasis. Immunohistochemically, they positive keratin, epithelial membrane antigen S100. The tumor, matrix-producing, S100-reactive nonreactive cytokeratin. usually hormone receptor-negative. average age patients approximately 58 years. Since triple-negative, chemotherapy after surgery the mainstay therapy, using either mastectomy or local excision. Our report highlights this entity in 55-year-old female patient matrix-producing Its distinctive histological features peculiar clinical behavior warrants clear knowledge about unique entity.
