摘要: Sucrose which is found in molasses such as beet or cane may be selectively extracted therefrom by passing an aqueous solution of the over a solid adsorbent activated carbon. The sucrose will adsorbed thereon and separated from betaine mineral salts, specifically potassium chloride, molasses. then removed treatment with desorbent material comprising alcohol. An essential step process flushing water prior to subsequent contact feed stream.
