摘要: Spermatogenesis is an essential stage in human male gamete development, which regu- lated by many Y chromosome specific genes. Most of these genes are centred a region located on the long arm known as azoospermia factor (AZF). Deletion events common because its pe- culiar structural organization. Astonishingly, among several genetic causes infertility, chromosomal microdeletions emerged most frequent anomaly associated with quantitative reduction sperm. The develop- ment assisted reproductive techniques (ART) like intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and testicular extraction (TESE) helps to bypass natural barriers fertilization, but it increases concern about transmission defects. Ex- perimental evidence suggested that men verti- cally transmitted their deletion well related fertility disorders offspring via ART techniques. In India, infertility alarming rise. centres have opened up virtually every state still India do not choose perform microdeletion diagnosis some advanced theoreti- cal reasons. Moreover, there no consensus clinicians management current review discusses thoroughly role screening workup significance diagnostic test, novel approaches for deletions finally systematic status India.
