摘要: A non-contact capacitance type liquid-level transducer for a conducting liquid consists of short circuited non-inductive coil wound on uniform cylinder made insulating material, such as glass, PVC, nylon, and teflon. The is connected with storage tank through metallic connector the between upper end varies linearly level measured from datum level. at depends atmospheric condition fringe effect other conductors. So, transducers require frequent recalibration depending environmental conditions. In present paper, this capacitive sensor has been further modified in order to minimize defect sensor. Furthermore, all conventional type-level sensors are associated perpendicular plate electrode, which length electrode. capacitor studied its minimized. proposed designed developed theory operation derived. performance experimentally experimental results reported paper. good linear characteristic very minimum parasitic observed.
