Conservative treatment of patients with periapical lesions associated with extraoral sinus tracts.

摘要: This paper describes the clinical courses of three cases with extra-oral sinus tract formation, from diagnosis and treatment to short-term follow-up evaluation. All teeth involved had periradicular radiolucent areas noted on radiographic examination tracts appearing chin exudation unpleasant aesthetic appearance. The adopted protocol included treating surface simultaneously root canal therapy. After shaping using 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution, calcium hydroxide-based pastes associated different vehicles were inserted into for 4 months, changed monthly. healed in 7 10 days. apical lesions completely repaired a maximum period 24 months. provided complete healing periapical short period.
