摘要: Blood vessels in living tissues are an organized and hierarchical network of arteries, arterioles, capillaries, veinules veins. Their sizes, lengths, shapes connectivity set up for optimum perfusion the which they deploy. In order to study hemodynamics hemophysics blood flows also investigate artificial vasculature organs on a chip, it is essential reproduce most these geometric features. Common microfluidic techniques produce channels with uniform height rectangular cross section that do not capture size hierarchy observed vivo. This paper presents new single-mask photolithography process using optical diffuser backside exposure leading microchannels both rounded direct proportionality between local width, allowing one-step design intrinsically networks.
