摘要: Foliar carbon isotope discrimination (Δ) is widely used as an integrator of physiological plant responses to environmental change. However, the relationship between foliar Δ and mineral nutrient accumulation still not well-known. The Δ, K, Ca, Mg, Si ash contents S. przewalskii Kom. (SP) chinensis (Lin.) Ant. (SC), two over-winter trees distributed on high altitude plateaux lower plains, respectively, were measured at monthly intervals over years under same growing conditions examine genetic seasonal variation in concentrations relation Δ. K markedly SP than SC, content was significantly higher while differences Ca Sabina significant. There winter summer for both trees. Close negative correlations with Mg content, significant positive contents, observed but SC. Thus, water-use efficiency SC related that have effects reduction transpiration rates or stomatal conductances. results obtained by present study will advance understanding adaptive strategies nutrition water use harsh environments.
