摘要: The neurophysiology of sensory and cognitive processing can be studied with a high degree temporal resolution by recording evoked potentials (EPs) on the scalp. These are extracted from EEG averaging number samples time-locked to event. They offer possibility measuring function numerous neural systems in completely noninvasive fashion. Moreover, assessed paradigms which do not require active participation subject. advantages make them easily applicable children therefore particularly suitable for study normal abnormal brain development. One most important uses EPs is assessment auditory function. Applications quite extensive, developmental disorders. Indeed, disorders such as those including language communicative impairment, it identify possible disturbances affect various levels central system.
