摘要: Polyneuropathies associated with IgM monoclonal gammopathy (IgM-MG) are the most frequent types of peripheral neuropathies gammopathy. The pathogenic relevance IgM-MG in is supported by several arguments. more significant pathological data on nerve biopsies and demonstration antibody activity to antigens, mainly myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG) and, sulfated 3-glucuronyl paragloboside (SGPG) lactosaminyl (SGLPG). objective this study was determine performance characteristics 3 immunoassays for detection anti-myelin antibodies neuropathy Monoclonal may show carbohydrate epitopes shared specific antigens. Results obtained three reliable assay systems, indirect immunofluorescence myelin sheaths (33%), thin layer chromatography anti-SGPG/SGLPG (54%) Western-blot anti-MAG (39%). Comparing different systems structure present both MAG SGPG/SGLPG sheath, appeared be sensitive than Western blot.
