摘要: We present a first combined analysis of the morphological and dynamical properties for Intermediate MAss Galaxy Evolution Sequence (IMAGES) sample. It is representative sample 52 z~0.6 galaxies with Mstell from 1.5 to 15 10^10Msun possessing 3D resolved kinematics HST deep imaging in at least two broad band filters. aim evaluate robustly evolution rotating spirals since z~0.6, as well test different schemes classifying morphologically. used all information provided by multi-band images, color maps 2 dimensional light fitting assign each object class. divided our between spiral disks, peculiar objects, compact objects mergers. Using classification scheme, 4/5 identified are disks more than show complex kinematics, while automatic methods such Concentration-Asymmetry GINI-M20 severely overestimate fraction relaxed disk galaxies. this methodology, we find that has increased factor ~ during last 6 Gyrs, much higher found previously based on morphologies alone. These forming stars very rapidly, doubling their stellar masses over most have been formed few Gyrs earlier, which reveals presence large gas supply. Because they likely progenitors local spirals, can conjecture how evolving. Their some evidence an inside-out growth supply/accretion not made randomly need be stable order match properties.
